Tripletail
Does anyone catch triple tail from the pier? If so, what time of the year? They sure are some good eatin!

They show up occasionally, you have to keep an eye out for them. More of a cool bonus fish than anything predictable. They are great to eat.

I caught one in May a few years back. Free lined a lively shrimp right in front of it and it was on. Awesome fight on a light rod and line.
