Sorry for your loss
I see the unfortunate news of the passing of Miss Cher. I only get to make it maybe once a year but she was always there. I just wanted to send my thoughts to you all who are close to her and her family.
I’m heading that way tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing many of you over the next week. Going to be different knowing she won’t be there.

One of my pier "most unforgettable characters", Cherrie Villanova was a master at any fishing she chose to pursue.
She could catch more fish from her chair than most would from the rail!
Cher even worked in the pierhouse window of the old pier for several years.
She managed to keep Lou in line, and many others who might forget the rules too.
I loved our many conversations about fishing and family.
Or the latest prank that Lou or Harley had sprung on some unsuspecting fisherman.
This is how I will always picture this wonderful lady...
