Striped bass?
The first time I fished the pier(4 yrs ago) I remember seeing some striped bass at the cleaning station but haven't seen one since. Are they there or was that nights rum still working on me ???

I’ve never seen one caught on the pier. Up in Fish and Magnolia Rivers but not the pier.

Seen a few caught out of the pass over the years.

I've never seen one caught in the Gulf, but I'm not saying that it doesn't happen.

Decades ago, I caught one at the weir.
But I've never seen one at the pier.
I guess they could've been caught -
Or cleaned at the pier after being store-bought.

Had a friend of mine that said he had caught some big ones quite a few years ago below Lake Talquin Dam.
