Beautiful reel, that qualifies as art.
As for the price tag, somebody will buy it. :poke1:
Yea we had one at the store some years back. What is cool is that it has two manual pickups. We sold it to a boat that was going to tuna and white marlin fish with it.
^I hate to hear they want to Tuna Feesh with it!!! Poor Reel probably exploded into pieces.

Nah, that reel is a beast.
I saw the two manual pickups. Why?

That's so you and a friend can fish with it at the same time.
It is a great learning tool to show someone how to get the line on the roller with a hoo or tuner swimmin away @ mach 3
LOL
I have no idea actually.
Even the 200 VS we have @ BPS is "a beast" and nobody wants to lay down the $750 for it,
but it is (by far) the most 'handled' reel in the store. :D
I was told that it had two pickups because the reel was so big that two were needed to speed up getting the line on the manuel.

This makes good sense. Having two equal sized rollers 180° from each other makes balancing the rotor easier also.
48 oz. Wow. That's about the weight of an international 30.
what is that thing on the back is it a bait runner or what?
If I remember what I read about the reel somtime back, it is some sort of lever drag. At least it operates similarly to a lever drag.
