Thoughts? Diawa Lexa 400
I'm considering a new baitcaster to add some diversity to my collection.. Has anyone ever used a Diawa Lexa 400? The model I am looking at has a bait clicker and has a 5.5:1 gearing..
looking to pair it with a tica wreck series rod....Nurse -- Father -- Falconer

I have no idea what the lexa baitcaster is like, I have a lexa 3500 spinning reel and it's held up very well for several years. Apples and oranges I know, but in my experience Daiwa usually makes pretty good gear.

thanks... i've got more spinning reels than I can use.. i'm always sitting around deciding which ones to bring... My only baitcasters are keepsakes and get used lightly in freshwater and such. I figured IF I put braid on, then a topshot of 15lb mono, I should be able to have a couple hundred yards of line... just wanted to ask around before I drop 200 bucks on another reel.... especially since I have no experience with Daiwa.

Great condition Fish-n-Mate "Junior" Fishing Cart. Light weight all aluminum with 5 rod holders and bait table/basket. Make hauling all you gear easier. Was $265+$26.50 tax but, get this one for...
