First-Ever King Photos

A lot of people have caught their first-ever King Mackerel on the GSP Pier in Gulf Shores Alabama. If you have a photo of your very first King on the pier, post it here!
We lost a bunch of great First King photos when the old forum went down, so please help us out.

The funny thing is that Ty's fish, brittany's fish, and the last picture were all caught the same morning. I'm pretty sure it was the same morning John G pulled off the double stick :yippee:

Fin Chaser: I caught my first King on March 23 and JJ Fish caught his first King on March 31. Hope this helps.

There is a photo of my son's first King that James took last year which included my wife and I also. I cannot find it, though. I think it was on the old forum in the scroll at the top.

My first King was back in April 14, 1984 on the old GSSP pier and was small--it was then I got my lateral line lesson in comparison to a Spanish. I do not have a photo of it. First real king followed the next day on Sunday the 15th, as it was a day before my birthday on the 16th. Also caught my first Amberjack that day as well.

Wasn't there another pier forum floating around awhile back after the old one crashed? I think that photo scroll was transferred to it when I reviewed it once.

I remember My first King like it was Yesterday.It was sometime around 1988 On the old Pier .I believe Bryan Bennet gaffed it for me Jack Jones Was the pier manager then. Good times :banana:

Don't really remember mine, but I do remember my first day on the pier and actually have a picture of it. Yesterday would have been 21 years to the day I became addicted to pier fishing.

I hooked this Fish and Handed the rod to this Young Lady She did a fine job Landing that fish .
