Any one have a small penn or shimano?

I'm looking for a small spinning reel either penn or shimano. Don't need anything crazy just something small I'm going to line it with Fluoro to speck fish with. I've got cash for anything worth while

Go to J and M, they should have whatever you are looking for. Reasonable. Cash is welcome.

Where are you located Rick? May have 712 if you're interested.

I'd prefer newer styles than a 712 I've got one of those and a 303 Mitchell.
Also don't really want anything from j&m except bait occasionally

Shimano Sahara is my favorite for fishing trout. Well balanced and lightweight, and handles the incidental redfish with ease.

Bass Pro and other retailers will carry it commonly and it's only around $70.

I've had the 4000 Sienna mentioned above for 2 or 3 years of heavy surf fishing use and I've definitely gotten my money's worth out of it fishing for groceries. I paid $30 on eBay for it as a new display/demo reel. It now sits on an Ugly Stik Lite in my truck for those spur of the moment fishing stops I sometimes make when the water looks too good to pass up.

I got a Sahara a month or so back and I love it. Awesome reel. Smooth as butter.
