What gauge wire is used for the release wire? Thanks for the heads up.

I use stainless welding wire? .....I would think something 30lb or 42lb single wire would work. Might have to put more of a bend....it's just to hold a bait fish.....the welding wire twisted fits just right in the lead egg sinkers for me

Thanks Bill I found some at hobby lobby just checking. I saw Mr. Wire and asked questions. Just wanted to do it right.

Coach---I use 120# test wire and could easily go to 150#. That's what Lloyd showed me, and I tried with lighter wire and it didn't work for me.
