I believe those are currently being employed more than we know ;-)

Bryan Bennett had a ruler that was 3/4 scale. He would take a pic of a fish such as a trout that was 21" long and according to the ruler it was 28".

That is already a huge perch, I believe.

Come to think of it, that could give me a 'lift' for the extra height I need to lean over the rail at the pier.

That style shoe is still sold. I have family members using them now, as well as my 5'1" roommate back in college.
