Dayum! That's plumb awful for the little feller.
Speaking of squirrels, I noticed that the ones that rob my bird feeder were having a terrible time climbing up the pole, and when I looked through my bring 'em near glasses, I could see that they were hampered by the webs growing between they little toes.
The possum I've had my eye on for a New Year's supper is now off the list 'cause he has done growed scales. I am fearful of a massive invasion of Gallinippers when the weather warms up just a little---as it is, I'm using a Thermacel in my treestand. On the other hand, we may have our first king of the year before the end of the month. (Are you paying attention, Slim?)

We put up a bird feeder in the back yard and I witnessed Squirrels climbing the pole. I took one of the kids old frisbees and drilled hole in the middle. Mounted it to pole with hose clamps on each side. Was a hoot watching them climb the pole and couldn't figure out why they couldn't get to the feeder anymore.

Come November, there's some really fun and productive fishing in store for the pier fisherman. One of my favorites is the whiting a hard-pulling, great eating fish and when the schools are in, you...
