Weather in early may

Whats the weather like down there around the 11 of may? Trying to figure out what to pack. :wall:

it will be hot! and really worth trying to catch king or spanish :headbang:

Shorts and tanks it is

It can still be 'chilly' occasionally in early-mid May so you might to 'layer'.
Just a windbreaker or longsleeve w/hood in case it's cloudy, damp or breezy.
But the afternoons are typically 'shorts & short sleeve' ;-)

Pretty much what #r said. Might want to bring one but definitely more of a precaution than anything. Can also have highs in the 90s. That time of year, ya never know.

if your from the far north....shorts is fine...... when the locals still have coveralls on :poke1: ...just messing with you....what Pier#r said...... you never know :ring I wore long and light weight till I couldn't stand it, just for sun block :violent :boohoo:

Two weeks ago I was all bundled up when I met a family from Michigan.
The boys (7-13) were all in shorts and t-shirts and went swimming that afternoon ???

:poke1: Sometimes I think you 'Yankees' must have antifreeze in your blood. :D

Spring and fall it's a good idea to 'layer'.
Like DD said it could just as easily be in the 90s ::)

Back in the day, when my charter parties wanted to know what the weather would be a month or more ahead, I'd tell them that it should be pretty good unless it got bad. That seemed to satisfy them, so I'll tell you that it should be hot unless we have a cool spell. :3some:

Ill tell you since the light blood thinner I am taking, I sure can't handle the cold like I use too ....haha...and yes I be a Yankee :boohoo: :poke1: :fishing:

Well I'm from Oklahoma. The weather here is pretty bi polar last Saturday it was in the low 80's and this coming Saturday it is going to snow. If its atleast 70 down there I'm good in shorts and tanks
