Grilled Bonita and Bonita ceviche

I was gifted a large bonita yesterday-bled it quickly and filleted it and packed the fillets on ice. Cut four nice steaks from one of the fillets, rubbed olive oil, pepper and a little salt then grilled. I made ceviche with the rest, cutting into small chunks. Lots of recipes but I mix lime juice, onion, tomato, cilantro, diced jalapeno, salt, pepper, sliced green olives and olive oil.

I grew up thinking you couldn't eat bonita, I didn't know what I didn't know...

First time we tried it my wife said "That's better than any tuna out of a can."

Those who say you can't eat them , well that just means we get more, That Ceviche looks good ,
