Little Tunny "Bonita"
Wanted to follow up with some experimenting I did on preparing some of the tunny I caught the other day.
First I tried slicing the 'tenderloins' into 'medallions' which I pan fried in a little olive oil with some Mrs Dash "Asian" flavored seasoning...

Next I tried frying the whole tender which made it easier to keep the center medium rare...

It was very good, but the seasoning kindof overpowered the mild tuna-like taste.

Then I tried the same with just a little sea salt & pepper...

And I pan seared it in a little butter...

This was much more 'toothsome'.
Having that succulent tuna-like taste and texture...

If you haven't tried it, I would encourage you to do so.
The simpler, the better IMHO ;-)
