Sinfuly easy whiting
I had to go to BHM this afternoon and did not get home until 8pm due to terrible traffic. I came in and found that my wife had thawed up a single serving pack (8 ounces) of Whiting. I cut each filet into three pieces and put them in a bowl of buttermilk. I mixed my breading (1 cup cornmeal 1/3 cup flour, generous salt and black pepper) and stirred it well. My Frydaddy was heating while I did this. I rolled each piece in the breading and dropped it in the hot peanut oil. I only fry about 5 to 6 pieces at a time and take them out to drain on paper towels as soon as they brown. I poured a glass of red wine and shed my traffic stress. It is so good that it has to be SINFUL. Thank God for my successful fishing trip last November. I am still enjoying the fruits of my labors at that time.
