Alabama White BBQ Sauce?
Anyone have a recipe for this? Been craving it since last June and I'm still a month plus from returning...
Thanks!

4 cups Mayo
1/2-3/4 cups Apple Cider Vinegar
1/4 cup Black Pepper
3 tblsp Lemon juice
2 tblsp prepared Horseradish
2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Cayenne
Combine Mayo, horseradish and spices in a bowl, wisk till blended well.
Add vinegar/lemon very slowly, whisking constantly till desired consistency.
Makes approx 5 cups.
This sauce doesn't get cooked on.
This is last minute baste before pulling meat off the grill and serving.
Get it too hot and it will separate.
Enjoy, this is good stuff!Ragnar Benson:

Lose the horseradish and Cayenne and make some Cole slaw with this.... Yummy!

Got this recipe from old college roommate.. Was his grandmother's recipe:
3 cups Mayo
1/2+ cup Black Pepper ( add until you get the white w/ black spec effect )
1-2 nice pinches of paprika
1-2tblsp fresh lemon juice
2-3 nice pinches of garlic salt ( more if you like )
Mix these in a bowl and slowly add white/apple vinegar until you get the consistency you want.
We make to use on smoked or slow cooked boston butts. It's definitely a family favorite.
Keeps well in tupperware container in fridge
