Another Novice Headed to the Pier
I am new to the Forum. And I am glad I found it. During my vacations to the coast the last couple of years, I would wander to the GSSP. I watched. I stayed out of other folks way. I fished. I actually stumbled into catching a few fish. But I quickly realized that I didn't know anything.
In preparation for my trip this coming week I luckily found this Forum. It is awesome. The best news for me is that I've lined up pier#r, thanks to all the advice from here.
I look forward to learning and having fun this coming week. And I'll try very hard to stay out of everyone's way.

Getting in each other's way is part of the fun. Wind, big fish, and lots of people makes a mess. But it is a glorious mess.
