I had the privilege, to spade fish with pier#er, this June. You could not ask for a better person to share the rail with.

Thanks David (#r). You did a great job. He could have given me fish, but instead, he taught me to fish. And it worked. I caught several Spanish. I didn't make it out to the octi. I didn't have the right gear. But I certainly will have the right gear the next time I visit the pier. I plan to catch a king one of these days. I caught a flounder in the surf, using the knowledge David provided. It was a great week fishing and meeting folks. Thanks for the advice and kindness. Now, if y'all will just do something about those dang remoras
