To Haywire's point - a lot of people lose their lures to jacks and it's often your most expensive one. I like a big crocodile spoon but when they're busting bait at the surface, they'll hit just about anything. Key is a good strong hook and good line (good knots) because they're going to make strong runs. Another thing I like about the crocodile spoon is that I've caught kings, reds, jacks and big Spanish on it.
