Dingaling Looking back if I would have had a looser drag
6 years ago today I walked out to zap a few sheep had my 706/superseeker 2 10/0 crickets and 5 gallon bucket Got to the draw and there was a 60#r figure eighting the pilons! I was about to go full force feed when some cat sabikid a baby jack down the way Providence!Looking back if I would have had a looser drag I may have caught that fish-she ran out from the pier but when I got her head up she turned and ran back to that center pilon and wrapped me😥anyway funny story for you guys -I got a lot of em

😂Dude the funny part was when I was wondering whether to nose or back hook the baby jack with the 10/0😂I called Gainer later that day to ask him what the latest he had ever seen a ling out there and all he could do was tell me how much I sucked at cobia fishing!! Good times🤙

Some skinny feller with a straw hat would have been yelling “ don’t give her an inch!!” So I guess you did the right thing. I never forget when he yelled that to someone and the person took it seriously.
