Thread: Fort Morgan surf

Hit the surf again late this afternoon with my parents and brought my ghost shrimp pump. Forget the sandfleas the ghost shrimp tore up the Pompanos. After limited out I put on a mirror lure and something very big hit it, was like 3 feet long, no kidding but got off. Caught a Spanish then lost my only lure whe something hit it and bit my line. Tomorrow is my last day before I head back to Texas.

Try some 30# clear mono or a 4' piece of 27# steel wire leader to prevent those cutoffs.
