Re: Interesting GSPP Rule we Need to Enforce
Is there a homeless shelter nearby? Never seen one yet that wouldn't take donated food. After 10 min, claim it and put it on ice for them.

Re: Interesting GSPP Rule we Need to Enforce
The fish baking in the sun is the sole purpose I purchased an ice chest that is so large. It's great to be able for Richard and myself to be able to catch our fish in one day and not have to take a break during the day to clean the fish to make room.

Albert Faulk and Jack Jones were the same way. I did not know either and I've been fishing the pier over 40 years. I posted the other day about that very thing. It really irks me to see fish lying arouns...esp in the sun!!!

I know this is really going to ruffle alot of feathers ,but abiding by the creel limits might also help .

Re: Interesting GSPP Rule we Need to Enforce
The Charity I'm a part of ALABAMA HUNGER RELIEF would love to take those donations. We are the same organization that has been holding the inshore fishing tournaments across the bay I post on here. I will speak with the other board members and see if there is a way we can set up a cooler or something so fish can be donated. :headbang:

Re: Interesting GSPP Rule we Need to Enforce
Before I quit deer hunting a few years ago, I donated everything I took except one small doe for sausage. Local processors would butcher and wrap for free. The shelters came by every couple of days to pick up. Win-Win

This Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for an abundant fishery and a magnificent pier, from which to access that fishery. I'm thankful for the morning view of the sunrise and what a spectacular view it is...
Happy Thanksgiving!
