I am also planning a trip for early October. Read an article from Fox 10 in Mobile that said the pier should be done by the end of August.

My condo is wide open for the whole month of September. Offering "Pier Rat" discount. First 3 weeks of October booked but last week available. I'm going to plan my trip around previously rented weeks. Will have a free bedroom or two to offer on the week I finally go!
