Glass. No question about it. They are more scratch resistant and hold up better in my mind.

Re: Polarized lens
copper and green mirror glass for nearshore/sight-fishing, gray and blue mirror for bluewater/deep water. i carry both in my bag when ever im on a boat. The glass really seems to hold up better, with a lil bit of care, they will last for a long time. i replace mine about every 2-3 years. Oh and be sure to get a pair with quality metal hinges molded in to the frame, they really make a difference. only costas for me

Re: Polarized lens
I went with Glass since the mirror is inside the lens, not coated on the outside like the plastic ones.

Thanks. How noticable is the extra weight of the glass? Been wearing plastic forever and am concerned about how glass would feel after 9 or 10 hoursScrew it. Let's ride.

Your nose will hurt the first few times you wear them, but you get use to them in no time.

Again, mine are RX. So, they are twice the weight of regular glass. That is not an exaggeration. I let a guy with glass non RX Costas hold mine and his reaction was D*mn!
So, mine are extremely heavy, but I only noticed after 5 hours or so. I would say the regular glass ones wouldnt bother me a bit.

Re: Polarized lens
I have worn glasses my whole life. My glass costas aren't noticeably heavy on my face. But I am used to wearing glasses. Bubba, I went with contacts some years ago primarily so I could get decent sunglasses. Back then the prescription sunglasses were cheesy. I needed good ones because light sensitivity goes with myopia.

Tom, we really enjoyed hearing you two tonight at Post 44. We have heard you before at the Elks Club, but you were in particularly good voice tonight. That was as fine a rendition of "You Were...
