FWIW I'd like to have the measurements that Ironman wants also. I probably don't get on the pier but 5-10 days a year, but I would like to have to option to run a trolley upwind if it is allowed, and he is right, if your rods can be moved fast it is better.

There is a formal effort underway to get the rule changed in Montgomery by due process. Defiance is not going to help the situation, but could derail it.
