Loose drag is what you need in the first place,then you can just pull some line off when needed

I have 2 penn 6500ss that the anti reverse dog is messed up from jigging offshore,I guess they weren't made for that constent abuse jigging a butterfly jig......I like the full anti-reverse reels now and have upgraded
