Noon update:
NHC reports the convection has 'refired' near the center of circulation of TS Karen.
This should help it maintain minimal TS status as it makes for landfall somewhere in SE Louisiana overnight then skirts the AL coast Sunday as a tropical depression.
Look for the gustiest winds in those squalls east of the center...
