    Yeah that is a versatile size for various species and should be fun on your spinning setup too.

    Your gear you've mentioned is fine for jigging, tie youself a 40 twist Bimini twist on your mainline and buy some pre made windon leaders. For the jigs a simple rule of thumb is 1 gram per foot of water in normal condition, but normally use at least 100g. if the current gets rough you will need to up the size of the jig. And hpa jig king bag is the best jig bag I've had. Shimano jig bags are alright but their pocket size are made for their butterfly jig. Jigging master made a pretty nice bag too. Anteater jig works really well. I personally like Zest jigs. They're mid priced with a rreally durable finish.
