The smallest 35#-85# barrel swivel (black or matte, not shiny), 12-24" of 40# uncoated sevenstrand and a 4X strength #2 treble.
If I was going to use an egg sinker, I'd also use a bead to protect the knot. If the wind is really kicking, probably anywhere from 1/4-2oz weights.
Start with 1/2oz and see what it takes to keep it just below the surface.
