Last time I bought frozen bait my stepdad forgot it in my car when it was 100 degrees... took months to air out. I'll just go for live bait. Sabikis or the ribbon thingy work better? Or both work just differently?
Need both.
Generally, ribbon rigs are the ticket for LYs, while sabikis are for sardines, cigar minnows (which seem to have made an appearance with year) and small hard tails.

BTW, I was looking at the Rebel website, I dont think they make Windcheaters anymore.
I do also like the Basspro brand crankbaits. Academy also have some less expensive models that wont make you cuss quite so much when you get cutoff.
Are the hardtails the ones that have the little points on the underside. Seemed like last time i was at the pier no one liked to use them much for kingfishing,
