From what I've seen of the pier maintenance people trying to replace boards they are almost impossible to pull up.
Nothing much to add, ran into Wade, crews are waiting on go to get started in repairs.
Many panels stayed in but the ones that came out helped due more damage to the structure.....i guess the wood swells and makes it harder to remove the panels.....good machinery bar would do wonders working them up and out.....but that's from a rigger most of my retired career .....the surge of the water didn't have a problem with most.....if there is a will, there is always a way
Now that my arm chair input is done..... (not)....I hope they get it back for you fisherpeople soon....going to miss the reports......head east
Four Seasons looks good from the public beach access and the new sea wall decking is perfect.
Hogman said the workers said it will be open by shrimp fest.....dang they better get on it then
To all who took the time to send pics and updates on the damage, a big thanks. Look forward to seeing everyone in a couple of weeks.
