Re: WTB a Better Ribbon Bait Rig
Thanks for the info dave!
When you get around to it I'd love to get a smaller and a medium size rig from you. let me know when you have some more madeGive a googan a king, and he can eat for a day. But teach a googan how to kingfish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years

Eddy, I liked your theory
Saltwater fish are attracted to red. They are just 'bloodthirsty'!(RETIRED) mostly.

Back in the day you used to see green ones too but I always thought red worked better.

Dave will you be at the picnic? I would still like to purchase two from you. What sizes do you offer?

Re: WTB a Better Ribbon Bait Rig
Man, I'm neglecting my duties, sorry for not responding sooner. Bait Ribbons are usually made approx 3 ft lengths, in square mesh sizes of 1/2" 3/4" and 1". Respectively for Specs, Spanish and Kings. However, I custom make everything, so if you want a bait ribbon 30 feet long with 5lbs of lead, I'm your man.

30' would be the ideal length because that's about how deep it is on the end.

Re: WTB a Better Ribbon Bait Rig
Sometimes things don't live up to the hype. Sometimes things exceed expectations. David Allison's bait rigs are everything I expected and more at a price more than fair. Next time down I plan to have all three sizes. Get one and you wont be disappointed.

David A, so glad to see you signed up.
Definitely a man who knows his stuff. I love the folding feature that goes into his net. Every intricate detail put into the production of the net has specific purposes. Was a sheer joy watching the assembly.
