I don't use a sabaki much, but I discovered that I can roll it up on one of those small, plastic leader holders, weight and all, and slip it into a ziploc sandwich bag and keep it out of trouble in the tackle box, at least, if not on the rod. They will certainly grab anything, given the opportunity.
