I still have some Year-1 (I think) bullet nose jigs. They still work great btw.

I made a spoon out of a real spoon once ... hooked a Ladyfish on the first cast.

Ironman, when you said “my jigs still had good action...” I assumed that you make the jigs. I now assume I was wrong in that assumption?

Honestly, I am not sure Tom. But your speculation has merit as recent rains would have brought an influx of nutrients into eastern LL and a subsequent increase in macroscopic life feeding on that...
Rain/Red minnows shortage this...
