Bushwacker is a good southern drink that I like. If you bring portillos, buona beef with you, bring the bread, they dont make its hard to find down there. Definitely stop at those places its worth it.

Funny enough we had Krispy Kremes here in Illinois for a while but they exited the market due to slow sales (guess we are too health conscience here...) Unfortunately we wont be there in an R month or July so that knocks out a couple items. Low country boil sounds good will have to look at making it.
Dew Drop Inn has been added to my lunch list. Where within 30 minutes of the State Park can I get good but not tourist price seafood?
I definitely understand that creole - cajun - southern etc are not inclusive. I love all those varieties of food but their a bit hard to find up here unfortunately. Evidently I can get Milo's tea in Southern Illinois (have to remember that next time im in St. Louis area).
Oh is it common practice to feed your guide down there like you do up north?

Hamburgers at Pirates Cove are good. Try the Tin Roof in Bon Secour for seafood. Try Mikes in Gulf Shores for fried Mullet nite.
I'd rather eat seagull than have to eat Lutefisk again. :eek: It's not a typical northern dish - pretty much isolated to Minnesota on account of all the NorVegians who live there. Can't douse it with enough Minnesota Hot Sauce (ketchup) for me!Quote:

Do'nt know if it was sam or not but james and i cut a pompano rig out of a banded pelican yesterday and the line had been rapped around it's leg so tight that he could not stand on it.when he finally did fly off the leg was limp.if anybody sees it on the pier we may need to call animal rescue to see if anything can be done for him.
How bout some Krakow and some salsiccia? Oh yeah, and some toasted ravioli!
Robert---Last week, Sam had line with a speck rig tangled on his leg and I reported it to the officials, and they got right on trying to capture him.
George james said that was a spec rig so it must have been sam.
