Ha. Would have been easier to deal with. That's sleet that piled up when I had to bail during the worst of it. A real beatch

Looks like a lot of fun.
Sucks being so exposed sometimes... Hail, ouch!Ragnar Benson:
Never, under any circumstances, ever become a refugee.
Die if you must, but die on your home turf with your face to the wind, not in some stinking hellhole 2,000 kilometers away, among people you neither know nor care about.

Worst part was that I couldn't see. Close my face shield and fog up. Open it and get pelted with rain and hail. 25 miles on a 4-6% downhill grade with lots of curves at 15-20 mph
Fish. Just fish.

I hear ya. It came down to two choices: basically curl up and quit or per those infamous Harley words: Screw it, lets ride. Dang sure made a memory.

Made my mind up that I'm gonna do Pike's Peak tomorrow to complete the hat trick. That'll make over 40,000 feet of climbing in 5 daysFish. Just fish.

Go to Garden of the Gods Park near Colorado Springs, awesome photo ops and won't wear out your brakes.
