These are very interesting responses to me, for some reason I thought MOST of the board members would live very close to the pier.

About 25 miles. I've never measured it or checked my odometer.
[font=comic sans ms][size=12pt]Actually, Darth Tater and Rowdy are the ones within walking distance. They live across the street from each other about ½ mile from the pier.

Then pcola is probably closest, you plan on fishing it at all??
Also 3mb, bobsikes, ton of land based places to fish, and some great wade fishing too
Heard too many bad stories about pcola. But all the other locations I am definitely going to check eventually. Ready to get to a point where I can afford me an ocean going kayak and really have some fun.
I'll post for Dredge in order to knock Fin off the top spot,he lives less than a mile.

So because of a few bad stories you won't even consider pcola? I still have never had a problem over there
I fished pcola several times last year and enjoyed it. Space is tight on the end, and regulars are pretty territorial with rods and stools along the rail. But generally they were good fishing trips. Porpoises were bad a couple of days. But I caught kings and Spanish in spite of their best efforts.
I might consider it, but if I am going to head that way, I would go ahead and drive the the little extra to Navarre. Want the best shot at cobes and possibly Mahi.
Fixed it. Stupid auto correct.

Me either but you and I tend to not really care about those fishing around us at all.
Cobra and Maui. Sounds fishy. :poke1:
