Bill, I don't envy you splitting on the side of a hill. If one of those big rounds gets away from you, it's "Oh, Crap." You deflate my ego when you say how many saws you have. I thought I was the only one, other than a professional pulpwooder, who owned more than two. All mine are Stihl. I quit using a maul thirty years ago---I still have one, but it's just there to remind me to take real good care of my hydraulic splitter.
