Yeah, it has to be something like that here in Foley now, as well. We have blanket coverage and it's going to get bad tonight when the roads freeze over! I'm in for the duration, so I can't show anything but my neighborhood. I'm hoping for schooled-up whiting in the surf once things clear up. I don't have any experience at all with how fishing is affected by what I consider to be ultra-cold conditions about to visit us. (14 degrees?) Yikes!

In the freeze of 85 I worked the mulletsickles in the lagoon ! This should get the water temp down where it should be for sure!

A friend of mine in Foley called to say that he measured eight inches of snow just now! I know this: I'm not going out to find out either how much it snowed or how cold it is! As for people who don't know to respect "Mother Nature", there's going to be a busy ER tonight, all along the Gulf Coast!

That was quite a storm.
Yes, by far eclipsing the snows of '73 and '77.
Check out this visible satellite picture this morning ...
And it isn't going away quickly as the high temp today is only near freezing.
