Steve, I did try it and would take some time to do. I kinda rushed it just to see how it would work. One thing is would you do the whole reel or just the sideplate? Also lost the thing when the other site went down.

i will send the pic when i find it. the whole reel except the handle and drag knob... time is not a problem, got about a dozen 706's not doing anything for a few months..
