Mr. Wire,
Guess I've been living in paradise a bit to long. Went back to Wisconsin to visit the kids and grandkids for the holidays. Planned on some ice fishing, then the snow and forecast of -20 with wind chill of - 65 sent me packing back to Sweet Home Alabama! Now I don't mind the snow, it was a winter wonderland but not that God awful cold. Glad to be home. Will hit the pier tomorrow before the cold snap here.

The weather wizards are saying 9 degrees here in Knoxville Thursday morning. Gonna have to snuggle real close to the wife tomorrow night.
Dance naked my friends, life is short.

Gulf Shores (WKRG cam)
Note how low the water level is even with the (transient) wind waves from the east.
this is a great look at the current bar structure along the beach in that area.
