I have 2 Catfish Ugly Stik's (2 piece) with Penn Fierce II 6000LL's for my King setup's. The flexilibilty of these rods are great and they are tough. I have had several customs rods that were for bigger game fish (King's) and they have just not made the cut, either broke, too stiff, or one piece. The 2 rods and reels in the pic caught 8 King's this past week with no problem.

Ford guy, I mainly use live bait (LY's, pin fish, and etc.) and don't have any problems casting.

I just bought the Ugly Stik Model BWS110080 about 2 weeks ago. It's like the rod that Pier#r mentioned, but has a slightly longer foregrip and butt. It's medium action, but I hope it's stiff enough for kings. I haven't gotten a chance to use it yet. Somebody please tell me some good things about it!
