She got a sack full of grizzly hackles off of flea bay. What you think about a couple of these hanging off the back of a white Mac jig? I'll post a some pics when she gets a few tied up.

Less is best.....unless maybe a cobe jig.....the more on it the more air it will catch and distance loss....plus the fall rate in the water.....just my opinion

Agree, on a mac jig, you want it streamlined to fall fast.

The hackles are whispy, and tied on 3/4 oz heads. Should not be a problem on falling fast. And...if all else fails, I'll go to the bottom and dredge for some Bulls.
I have been eying the colors in the bag and definitely see some shrimp in there...she has a hundred or so short hooked jigs for flounder and pompano too.
She better get busy!
