Yes they are worth it I brought three to key largo great for tarpon snook grouper mangroves reds specks kings Spanish 2 of them had 5000s and 1 had a 2500 I have a shimano sienna on a shimona crucial rod and have caught tarpon big reds snapper and Spanish on it most people don't like to have less expensive reels but in south Florida they were using Penn pursuits for tarpon
