Why keep beating a near dead horse why bring up this subject every so often to get on a heated debate over it. I don't care any witch way how people want to fish if they spend there 8 dollars they should be able to fish the way they want to within the guide lines of the rules. But rules change like there attempt to throw carcasses into the sea into a trash can. Trolley fishing will come back one day and some people are going to be responsible and some are not same go for float fishing or free lining. Go with the flow and if they allow it there's another way to fish otherwise find another method. That's my 2 cents on this touchy subject and done with this thread.

Don't know the OP, and I could be wrong, but this thread has a whiff of troll about it. What other purpose for starting a rumor that is apparently completely unsubstantiated.?....
If you can't work a fish around a trolley, then you can't afford to Bitch when you loose it. this is comming from a light-line snobbler. Everyone should be able to coexist. I know pleny of people who would pull in if you have a fish too big to maneuver or if you are new to the whole thing. If the day comes where it looks perfect for a trolley or single line rig, I will use it if i have the tackle on me. And i will also snake your trolley if im snobbling ;)
Ill be there the 20th with a trolley, a float rig, beer and gill nets. I think I'm ready. I might even jump off and cool down if I get too hot. Can I stay with you Jbearden
Wrong. The biggest problem I see with a trolley rig is that it will lead to an unattended line over the rail. Regardless of one's ability, that unattended line will increase the likelihood of a fish being lost.Quote:
