Yep a two year old thread with new rules on the pier regarding sabiki's

I was aware when I replied, sometimes I just can't help but reply lol.

Underhand casting is all about momentum and timing of the weight (lure, bait, whatever) on the end and the rodtip.
With practice you can cast almost as far as overhand.

But then people using 6 foot sabikis on 10 foot rods are clueless to not care anyway...
